Treating animals humanely, being a steward of the environment and producing a safe product are the goals of all farmers. These are also the basis for the most prestigious certification offered by Validus: The Certified Responsible Producer.

Becoming a Validus Certified Responsible Producer requires certification in three programs offered by Validus, including Animal Welfare, Environmental Review, and On-Farm Security. When all three areas are addressed and certification is received by the farm being annually audited, the Certified Responsible Producer certification is awarded to that farm.
Our Certified Responsible Producer seal on retail packaging assures consumers that they are purchasing food produced using socially responsible farming practices. We also offer signage containing the seal for posting at farm locations. The seal can also be used on awarded producers’ websites and marketing materials.
